LobsterPicks is an independent publication covering Thailand travel, VPN/privacy, money transfers, and expat living. We earn a commission when readers click certain links on this site and complete a qualifying action with the merchant — at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the research, testing, and ongoing updates you see here.
How we disclose

Affiliate programs we participate in
We are partners in programs run by (or routed through) the following networks and advertisers. Commission is paid by the advertiser — readers pay the same price they would pay going direct.

Editorial independence
- Earning commission never determines our rating or recommendation. We rank by value to the reader (price, route options, coverage, track record) — not by payout.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews, and we do not offer guaranteed placement.
- Where a recommended option is not part of any affiliate program (e.g. Thai State Railway, local bus operators, public services), we still recommend it when it is the best choice.
